Dave's Buddypress Events Plugin Example Event
Here’s a modified version of the Buddypress Events Plugin that works with Buddypress 1.2 +.  It is based on Erwin Gerrits bp-events plugin.  I plan on adding Geo location to it soon and I’m working with Erwin to get this released in to the community again, but for now download it bp-events-dave-aubin-1-2

Thanks for the port, it works. I don’t have a public example, b/c I use it on an intranet site at work. But it does work, almost out of the box. For 1.2.5+, there is a 1-liner that needs to be added: described here: http://www.koopman.me/2010/07/making-bp-events-work-on-buddypress-1-2-with-invites-working/
I downloaded the version for BP 1.2, installed on my test server but nothing related to events shows up in the users menus…
On the backed it adds 2 items in the SuperAdmin menu: Events and Events Settings.
So, it seems not to work thou…for the record, I’m running WP 3.0.1. (multisite activated) and BP 1.2.5.2
When do you think a new version of this plug in would be ready?
I’m not currently working on this plugin. I did it as a favor to the original author and since then he hasn’t responded to me in my email requests. I could look in to it for you, but it would be contract work. Let me know if you are interested.
